Wallace and Sallyanne - thank you. Sometimes my images are quite different sometimes they are similar - still, this one I think is the former.

A recent thread in this forum references crochet and a related plugin produced by Dinasset. Now I vaguely remember downloading it long ago, so I thought why not give it a try. Australian flowers - a rustic native bouquet.

I recently referred to Dinasset's Crazy Crochet plugin (above post #1044) and the excellent outcomes that can be achieved.

So I started thinking about whether I could make a 'crochet brush' to be used with freehand drawing, symmetry painting and path stroking, to provide reasonable outcomes. I am not a 'brush' or "brush dynamics" wizard, unlike PixLab's efforts elsewhere in the forum recently, but I thought I would have a play anyway.

So the following images are first steps in a work in progress activity; well it is a start at least :hehe

Issabella and Wallace - thank you as always for your kind comments.

Still learning the best brush settings for different image styles, but it's fun to play with.

The two canoeists on the cliff base river had no idea this would happen as they passed the 'Gate of the Monster' cavern in the cliff side.

Leaving Auburn

Her pace was now slow and she hesitated as she moved
from the warm light towards the darkness beyond the gate,
the Gate Of Auburn, that is, staring at her, beckoning her,
tempting her to leave everything she always was.

In her mind, she was walking to the hairdresser,
just a ten minute trip and must have lost her way
as she did not recognise this place
but it was warm and comfortable here.

Then she shivered and quivered at what lay beyond the gate,
it was cold, dark, wet and she did not want to pass through.
Nobody had told it would be like this, going blond that is,
and her friends all supported her, 'it's just an hour in the chair'!

Now they were behind her, pushing her towards the gate,
the Gate Of Auburn, that is, staring at her, beckoning her,
tempting her to leave everything she always was
by going blond and just then, she woke up.
