Well that explains it,lots of misunderstandings I guess.
The files I d/led from YAFU's post were all source.
GnuTux used gimptool-2.0 while in the install file of the source files they tell you to use gimptool w/o a version.
That program doesn't exist in gimp-2.x.x.
So apparently molly tried to install the source as a plugin which of course won't work.
It's past midnight here, tomorrow I'll try to make a 64 binary for molly and anyone else.
Gerard.

Thanks samj for the sources. I've been able to compile version 2.11 for GNU/Linux 64 bits. Only in Kubuntu 10.04. I do not know what could be the problem with newer versions. Of course, should work on any 64-bit distro.

Removed the dead link from YAFU's post above and attached the compiled plug-in V2.11 for Linux_x64.

gerard82,

I have posted scripts that were already included in GIMP, so it's likely something I would do.

I've just discovered Plasma2. How nice to be able to select a gradient to start with. Well done all who worked on it.

Hi to all,

I have a big problem, after an automatic update of windows 10 I've had no access to my extern hard disk, there came a message that this hard disk wasn't readable or damaged so windows could not open it. (in the hard disk manager was shown that it had a raw-format). I've had to delete it and to format it into ntfs-format. (That's why I never use windows 10 again!!!!)

All Files of gimp where deleted. I've found the most files of gimp, but I need the plasma 2 plugin for linux 32 bit.

Who can help?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Cruella

Try the attached, it is version 2.10 I will try a compile of 2.11 but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

edit: The same as Gnutux posted back on

Well, that was a bit of a struggle to dig out a 32 bit linux VM from the archive.

This plasma2 2.11 from samj's source compiled in a xubuntu 14.04
