This is a more detailed tutorial. Did this one for samj who is trying to automate the whole process. :)

Lyle, did not try it manually this time. What is "Straight filter"? Tried Samj's with her defaults. Added a brown color on top with Overlay mode then slight brightness and tone mapping slightly. Is this OK?

You got a great result with the preset, Pat.

I define "straight" as only using samj's preset for your query purposes. :)

Just could not leave this, Lyle. You and Samj really have something here.

This was just the default settings of the filter.
