Here's a video, that will show you how to set your mouse wheel,
to size brushes in Gimp 2.10.

and if I want more than 10 px?

I believe the available actions/events are,
what can be used.
I do not know of a way,
to create a new or custom event/action.

However,
there is a event,
which is: Increase Brush Size Relative.
You can try this setting.

I use a mouse, that has an infinite scroll wheel.
If I push the wheel up or down.
It will continue scrolling,
until it runs out of steam,
so to speak.

you're lucky ;)
my mouse is not terrible (Microsoft wireless 3500) and use a lot of batteries.
