A new tutorial to create a very real effect on the watercolor drawing effect.
This technique has been created by Dinasset, and after understanding his technique, and doing quite a lot of images, I have written his method in this tutorial. I can assure that the results are always very satisfactory and above all, I have enjoyed the process in each one of the results.
Huge thanks Dinasset. :tyspin
I hope you all try this method, too. :paint
In the attachment, you will find the tutorial in PDF, paper texture and the gradient to use.
Wallace, please, could you add this tutorial to the Gimp Chat list for tutorials? Thanks a lot.

Only a simple note for Isabella:
I continue posting my experiments on my previous thread.
That's the reason why you do not see them here.
Again, thanks a lot for the tutorial: there will be a sloooow start from other member: even if not complex, the sequence could be difficult during the first trials (OMG is still not "on the game" for the previous tut, Ink-pen).

And you continue with your excellent outcomes. Great!
(About the GC-ers, in Italy there is an idiom: un assordante silenzio)

In Dutch: "oorverdovend stil".

:wow Issabella, I've still a lot to learn and practice :paint

Thanks, Ella, for having "broken" the silence of GC-ers.
I've seen your previous posts on GL and I hoped to see you also here.
Try also the trick suggested in the tut: using more areas (10-16) but limiting the "gradient" step to the major ones and skipping the "whit-ish" areas.
That's because the gradient tries to simulate the flow of the colour toward the external borders (when using "wet" watercolour technique), but it's almost useless for very small areas and whit-ish ones.

Diego, thank you for the tips. I've used more areas for the gradient.
Hope this one is better.

It's a great result. Ella. I think you have got the process. I started with only a few areas until I was more confident. :bigthup
Well done Ella. :yes :paint
