Super easy and fast tutorial, inspired by the help request here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=18072

Updated tutorial v.2 to get 6 colors.
Uses 2 G'mic filters that you can apply on one run, takes about half minute.

Original and initial outcome.

The quick additional trick in tutorial may give you a little better outcome.

Hello, Don't know if you forgotten about this post! But, Thank you for this useful tutorial :)

I have a question,
Since we are working with Rubik's cubes what size crop would be appropriate / adjustment to make the image to be built with 1000 cubes?

Looking forward for your response
