In this video you'll find me rambling on, trying to fill dead air space as I paint the Quick Mask on the coin image. Feel free to fast forward through those bits.

*You'll need GMIC.
*Coin image of your choosing
*Patience and practice
*This pattern (metallic grunge)

Cool! An added layer of metallic pattern would probably eliminate most of the faded areas.
