1. Create a font of decent size that contains ABCDEFH (could be anything else too).
2. Create a copy of it and flip vertically and then move it around so that it connect nicely with the font from step 1.
3. Merge 1 and 2, then create copies of that and keep extending the pattern.
4. On a separate layer, create an egg-shape (or any other shape I guess, select border and fill it with black or another color).
5. Remove any parts that's outside of shape from step 4 from step 3.

I am wondering if I should create a plug-in that does this automatically and change up thet sizes and randomly order them too so that you get a different design each time you run on a predefined shape. What do you think?

1. Using the same method to get a design on a square (of mirrored and rotated letters).
2. Put pattern on step 1 on a white square.
3. Use Map Object - Sphere (use default settings) check transparent background then OK to get a sphere of mapped pattern.
4. Scale the mapped sphere down to ellipse (egg shaped like).
5. Put it on a nice background.

That's it.

Egg using v3 of plug-in (which allows user to specify number of maximum colors to randomly choose from).

And using the same plug-in for the pattern to use as sort of like stencil to cut out another image (in this case from unsplash); we have something like this

Combine this with wobble3D plug-in
to get something like it's organically painted.
