First go here and dl the Gimp-Sharp bundle
http://gimp-sharp.sourceforge.net/screenshots.htmlNow open your bin folder in your Gimp version program files
Change the 2.6 to 2.4 in the file names of the gimp-console-2.6 and the gimp-2.6 files.
Install Gimp Sharp following the install instructions packed with it.
Now change the names of the exe and console files back to 2.6 or whatever they were before.
Start Gimp and you should see some new plugins with small images next to them in 3-4 different menu areas.
All will work except Photoshop Actions, i cant get that one to work just yet. =)
Ever time i place the ATN files in the scripts folder it crashes the Actions pLugin for some reason. If the ATN files arent there it opens the dialog with NO atn files there...useless.Thus far i can only get it to work in my 2.4.7 version and only with 5 or less ATN files. =\ ... sadly
BUT!
One of the many plugins with Gimp Sharp that do work, is called Slice Tool, and you will find it in Filters/Web/Slice-Tool.
This tool is awesome for creating web pages and slicing an image into CSS or HTML.
the difference between it and the regular Gimp slice tool are
Gimp# has preview, and many many more features. Its almost like a separate program within Gimp like G'MIC.
So all you web builders, and slicers and dicers enjoy!
EDIT: You must have microsoft.net 3.5 installed to use this on windows XP
Also i have gotten this to work in 2.7.1 now =)
If you need further help installing GIMP# let me know.
