After posting the Fun Sphere tutorial, I went looking for this one. Here is the resulting image, from this tutorial. This tutorial is quite a bit more complex than my other sphere tutorial. Sorry the images are so large.

Here is the tutorial, in two parts.

Greg, I'm so delighted you posted some of your tutorials. Thank you.

Here are some I made in the past using a similar technique.

I was a little concerned that they may have been too much.

I don't think so. I'm very happy you posted them. Your tutorials are excellent.

It will take some time to try them out and, besides, it's great fun to browse them. :-D

Right now I'm doing the puzzle tut using the cat I G'MIC'd here. Looks like a perfect image make a puzzle.

Gimper, you have to go to

Filters >> Filter All layers

search for the

Plug-in-map-object

and then click on

Apply Varying

Hi Gimper,

It seems you miss the option All layers in the Filters menu.

I became that option when I installed GAP.
Probably you don't have GAP.

Here's a link to the same problem as yours

greetings

ella Louise,
thanks for your quick response, but for this moment the plugin browser is not available.
I have tried several times but I can not get in there, they may be updating and it is therefore not possible.
Would you like to see if you can enter the plugin browser? to be sure that the problem is not only with me.
thank you in advance,gimper

or maybe you can give me the GAP script or plugin,if that would be possible :tyspin :tyspin

I can't open the "Latest scripts & plug-ins" either. The problem isn't on your computer.
Here's a link to download and install GAP.
I hope this can help you.

Sorry that I haven't been on for a little bit. In South Carolina for Christmas.

I have to figure if the Filter All Layers is part of GAP. If you have it, it we be way down at the bottom of your filters list. I'll see if I can find a link to GAP.

EDIT: Here is a link for GAP.
