A 3D Crossview image is an image that is visibly 3D without the aid of any extra equipment (no 3D glasses).
If you cross your eyes, you'll see three images. The one in the middle will be perfect 3D. Here's my tutorial. I hope you like it!

Unless you have a astigmatism like myself, then you see 3 cubes all fuzzy. =P

I have astigmatism corrected by my glasses and I see the 3D image in the center.

works for me with my glasses on (nearsighted and astigmatism)....I learned how to cross view on Brian's Soapbox, lol (Brian May from Queen is into this sort of stuff).
