It is common in Am' Athir for predators to leave behind bits of flesh that they find indigestible. These can often be softened up for eating by a long slow boiling process. The Daemons often find them in the mountains of Am' Athir and use them to make a strong savoury broth called Gith-kel.

erisian: eeeugh! gross. but looks very plausible. what got you into the innards track again? i thought you had moved on to enchanted caves and stuff!
love the story part, though :)! more of that, i want to know what the daemon tribes of am' athir make their clothes of and what their homes look like. and i really want to know if loga and sharadil reunite.

I am sure glad I already had dinner, or I would not have been able to eat it after seeing that and reading it.

The king of Gimp gore!

Thank you everybody.

AnMal - I can't stop experimenting with relief light and that is what is producing this stuff. Daemons largely make their clothes out of leather and some daemon tribes even use leather armour but the tribe of Galdar which Loga comes from have a very efficient stiffening process that makes their armour almost as good as plate. As for Loga and Sharadil, a story has been written but the scene has yet to be enacted. :)

I don't often visit Am' Athir and I never visit the caves because it's just too dangerous but for AnMal I went there using the Northernmost pass to avoid the Drow. Disguised as a nomad, the daemons ignored me and I was able to take this photo of the entrance to a daemon's home. Unless I can gain Loga's trust (for a daemon she is very good natured) I don't stand a chance of seeing inside a daemon's home so sorry AnMal, I have no further information for you.

erisian: wow, i got to see the entrance to one of their caves! thank you, erisian! :hi5 and i do look forward to hearing more of loga and sharadil if you ever get the inspiration for painting the story. fortified leather has been used for armour even here on earth and that's what i thought of when i saw loga's clothes :).
