They kind of remind me of giant robo chickens from hell. It's very good work. I've been thinking about experimenting with stuff like that after I get my website remodeled and back in operation. I'm having a bit of a snag on that project though because I can't quite decide how I want it to look. What you're doing looks like a lot more fun though.

It looks like a scene out of a movie. Very well done.

I, too, like the animal skin on the robots. :coolthup

LOL, there is actually a tutorial in the GIMP novice book on how to composite a giraffe head onto an ostrage body... way weird. =)
Ill have to try that one some time.I did the squirrel and car though.Those turned out pretty neat.

@Rod
You should have posted a link to the relevant forum: http://gimper.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7812
however it's now too late for that challenge, but the second has started: http://gimper.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7856

I was very impressed with the entries, given that they are my photographs that were manipulated.

Be forewarned that the image resources this time are very strange...lol

Thanks paynekj for letting us use your photos for the last one also.
