Different Effects Gimp Text (Show us yours using gimp)

Sallyanne - it is the 'claws' font (1 of 2); I have attached both below in a ZIP file. Note that in the image I added an extrusion to the glass font outcome.

Sallyanne, sorry that I posted my text effects in other thread by mistake.
I like this thread a lot and I think that it's a good way to remember the nice effects Gimp has so far.

Cool Isabella. I have a folder filled with all the older 'alpha to logo' & 'logo scripts' that were made over the years. Unfortunately I don't have them anymore...except BRL logo. Glass effect text logo script doesn't work for me either.

Sallyanne, I posted some very old filters I still have. Maybe you can get they work in your gimp.
I have these Script-Fu filters, too

Filters are convenient for making text effects much of the time, but my satisfaction comes from creating them from scratch.

Beautiful creations you have got. :yes

However, I think that it's important to give merits who have invested their effort and talent to create filters or scripts. It's a pity that the effort and time invested on them to be missed or lost when gimp gets new updates/versions.

So, I see that if the old scripts can be update many people will be happy, too. :hi5
