When I recently did my tribute to Sen. Thompson, it dawned on my that I can use G'MIC's engrave preset to create strategic patterns to feed into voronoi stippler. Below's a result.

Lyle - some very interesting results there Lyle, especially the coloured ones.
Also interesting is that the stippling technique looks very similar to 'traditional Australian aboriginal art' - try googling it

Yeah; but they also include lines and such I believe. Not that good, though, I've tried to emulate aboriginal artwork in the past.
