A Polaroid of a college friend from mid-1970s. Cherished but shoeboxed until scanned in 2008. [Actually, it was a Godiva chocolates box.] GIMP-created oval cutout frame & CLUT & fog effect applied in 2018 when I first started playing with GIMP. Reversed the fog effect in 2020 because the way it was originally applied suddenly looked wrong after a couple of years. Perhaps I'm learning to see things differently. But at this rate ...

Haven't seen her for about 35 years. I thought of this illustration as representing a sort of vaguely threatening female spirit dream image but, you're right, it's nice remembering what she looked like without the special effects.
