Digital Watercolour Paintings (Watercolour Outcomes)

Due to the interest in the watercolor effect, I open this thread as an attachment to jvid graphic Effects only to be used for watercolor effects.
Please feel free to explain your methods and / or ask any questions that may arise to achieve such beautiful results.
Many other people will be able to benefit from it.
For this purpose this thread is at your disposal.

These two outcomes are different. I prepared the zone of the picture before running the filter Jvid_L.
When I had the zone visble of the picture, merged it on a white layer. Then ran the filter. It was an experiment.

Very good idea, Issabella; the success of your process L/LA should be "honored" by a specific thread dedicated to any enthusiast of digital watercolour paintings.

Here my first contribution.
Being a filter man, I operate obviously on the filter itself to personalize.
Hence I have added a texture to simulate the paper on which the painting is done (I used a Fabriano paper). The idea has been stolen from Lula, who first realized the concept and was immediately followed by Ella and Issabella with excellent results. They use texturizer as you have seen on the JVID thread
Then I modified the frame overimposing an oval white area a little blurred.
Then I created a new from visible and set the LAYER_MODE to Screen to lighten the result.

My second contribution.
Applied the following modifications to the LA .xcf result:
- Median Blur on the Frame
- VIVID_LIGHT mode on the Ageing pattern
- Added GEGL Chroma (10) to the Base layer

Third experiment.
Applied these variations to the .xcf:

- Frame: Median Blur
- Paper: opacity 100%
- Ageing: layer mode LUMINANCE
- Base: more brightness

Applied the following changes to .xcf produced by the filter:
- overimposed a second frame (we call here "frame" only the white margin around the image)
- set off the ageing layer
- added some red and yellow to tha Base
- activated the top layer and set to SCREEN
- modified a bit the colours

Very nice results, Dinasset.
I set opacity lower to ageing layer.
applied more luminosity to base layer
duplicated frame and applied blur.

Changes to .xcf outcome:
- top layer activated and set to ADDIOTION at 80%, plus added MEDIAN BLUR at 25
- paper set to LCH LIGHTNESS at 25%
- ageing layer set to GRAIN_MERGE

After applying the following changes:
- top layer activated, inverted colours, set mode to DIVIDE at 5% (it looks interesting IMO)
