I can't hope for great results but it's fun for me and a bit to try to stimulate my imagination, too.

OK, Issabella; saw your challenge at work, so when I got home, I had to try something. lol

Appreciate the play; needed the diversion.

Nice rose image
I thought it would be cool to see a mocked-up cross-stitch.

After scaling it down in GIMP, then upped the contrast
I used my cross-stitch mock-up tool.

Rattan Rose

OK; it was either going to be a marbles (and not ruling out that I might still do one) or wicker, so decided I'll push out a wicker before a chill (and then bed before I head off to my version of Friday). lol

What a nice idea Issabella, to let us play with your photos, nice to see dinasset coming back as well

I don't have your talents gals/guys, so I came up with something completely different (might help some beginners to grab some concept though)

Cool tut, Patrice. Not sure why I didn't think to use channels when extracting the rose; used the scissor tool and it, well, s*cked. lol
