Love them OMG, especially the green one :kpix

Co-incidentally I've just gone green too using Ofnuts' neon-path plugin with symmetry painting.

PS: Off topic but also had a dalliance with tiling and some more knitting.

Teapot - very nice neon path mandala; interesting about the knitting .. do people still knit? I actually saw a lady on TV, in the crowd at the recent women's ashes cricket in England, who was knitting a cricket style, cable knit sweater. Shades of my dear old mum.

Anyway here is something also a little off topic, by way of my response to Erisian's comment to Sallyanne's post, 'about a mirror in the middle'. Here is a picture of an 18th century OMG, looking at himself in a gold, tulip patterned wall mirror :hehe

Yes people still knit. I saw a person knitting the other day - baby clothes

I post some ugly tests as proof of my inability, and yet I spent a lot of time looking for ways to improve..I allow you to sneer! ;)
and I tried to make one with a thick effect but that one I will not show it because hideous!

Those are so good level_0. I especially like the second one. I see you used the tutorial, that's great. You don't have to use paths to create brushes if you don't want to, you can just paint things or cut out photos and you can play with filters. Let your imagination run away with you. :paint :hi5

OMG, Love your mirror, you must have stash of ancient gold :bigthup Knitting is still a popular hobby judging by the number of craft magazines in the shops.

level_0, Nice mandalas, I especially like the second one. The tulip brush is really pretty.

Erisian, That's a cool effect, looks like shell marquetry.
