Lula &
Skinnyhouse - good ones
I find it amazing that a brush so simple as this one can create a complex mandala; but it can

Using my same simple brush, as above, to make two new brushes.

Does that mean you could use a mandala to make a brush?

Tas - simple answer is yes; Gimp brushes can be made just by selecting/copying whatever shape/content is on your canvas and using the clipboard object as a brush or saving that copied image as a Gimp brush (.gbr).

Just following up on
Tas_mania's comment - here is those simple brushes turned into a mandala, that is then turned into a brush to create this mandala

I share with you the mandala that I am reproducing, I fill it with alcohol markers, I find that it has a really original style but it is quite hard to do again. I use a stencil ^^
If you have ideas to draw other original mandalas, I'm interested.
I went to buy from this
shop here

Thats interesting OMG. I'm glad it worked
It looks like you used the brush with 5 different sizes. It's all infinite isn't it?

Tas_mania - yes, once you have the brush, the 'Brush Dynamics' provide many, many options.
This next mandala was created based on Marty's post and comments - it really only partly qualifies for this thread because, even though I created 3 separate brushes to use, much of the result was gained from selection/path/stroke path activity. However, it is an original mandala.

Wow, Omg your 2 last mandalas are very beautifull
.
Here is mine created with an old homemade brush but transformed into an animated brush (the first time I explore this)
