I usually do not comment Mandalas, they are not in my ropes, as Gimp-chatters know, but this last one is so intriguing that I can't be silent: fascinating, really.

Initially I found that there were too many colors and the more I look at this mandala, the more I like it.
Now that I have understood how to make animated brushes (thanks to a video by
Miguel) I can widen my playground.

A brush made using Tin Tran's 'lined path' plug-in.

Used the bird brush and to make another brush, when i was done i used Gmic dream effect
and pin-light layer mode

Nice work.
The brushes are not limited to mandalas but can be used for any artwork. They could be good for fractals and its possible they solve a problem. Part of that solution is to make a new brush from different brushes - from completely different brushes.
I'm sure OMG knows what I'm getting at here
