Beautiful work from Erisian, OMG and Issabella.
Some of these creations, particularly the lined paths ones - OMG 192 and Isabella 197 remind me of the old PSPI plugin, which we can only use on a 32bit machine now.
Wish we could get that plugin working on 64bit.

Issabella: Beautiful! I like how delicate the "petals" look.
teapot: It's lovely! Very tastefully done. Love your username, by the way.

oldmangrumpy wrote:level_0 - in your last post you said you would 'like to know how to do these last two'. On the presumption that those last two were in my post, I have attached a PDF document explaining what I did. Hope it is what you were looking for
OMG
These last days I was sick and not seen your tutorial, because not present on GC.
Thank you
, it touches me enormously. I doubt my abilities with Gimp, so I hope to achieve something.

I cheated here - I didn't use the mandala function, I used duplicate layer and rotate layer but I didn't want to start a new thread for this.

Erisian
beautiful Santa Claus who does not have a single wrinkle ...
OMG
I'm translating your tutorial and I have not seen this filter YIQ luma that you quote in step 7??
Edit: in the tutorial for the red mandala, you use the Generate Intermediate paths of Ofnuts but I did not find on sourceforge?

level_0 - OK; la prochaine fois je le ferai en français
Firstly despite the plugin showing on the screen as 'Generate Intermediate Paths', it goes by the name of 'path-inbetweener-0.2.py'; I have attached it below for you to download and place with your other plugins. 'YIQ luma function' is located under GMIC>Contours>Local orientation as shown below, so just scroll through the Channels drop down to select it ...

Erisian - a couple of neat lined paths mandalas and, with the last one, another case of great minds almost think alike

Awesome - we're doing great!
dinasset and pat - thank you very much

Erisian - continuing the 'great minds' theory ...

Erisian: Yu're a great mandala maker. I wonder if you're not almost as good at making mandalas as you are at making tea.
Oldmangrumpy: Ooooh I like that snowflake! I like both of yours, but I have a special feeling for that icy, frosty six-edged thing. It's maybe because temperatures have risen here again and it's raining.
Edit: Removed politically sensitive joke. Sorry, people!

Anmal - glad you like the snowflake; by the way you mentioned 'raining'; what is that??
Sat Dec 07, 2019 10:54 am
Nice work again OMG. I agree with AnMal for once.
