Using one of the brushes as in post #293, I made a different mandala pattern and rendered it to make it glassy.

Just experimenting with brushes, Gimp filters and GMIC filters, which leads to ... serendipity!! Two different mandala style outcomes below from the same brush.

Mandalas from metallic goat horns brush; can be use as is and/or cropped for single horn.

Well, after all my years using Gimp, I've found a new (yet simple) means of creating a brush for my mandalas. I created a path using Ofnuts 'Path Inbetweener', then simply stroked it using Stroke Line, with an OMG pattern and custom (stippled) line style.
