@Skinnyhouse - thanks for updating this extremely flexible plugin.
After 4 years I am re-familiarising myself with the original parameters, their impact and effect; I have not yet looked at the new facilities ... old age means anything learnt 4 years ago is now long forgotten

you still are doing wonderful works of art OMG

Looks like the the old skills have returned pretty quickly judging by your last contribution OMG.
Way to go (as they say)!

Sadly the link to the script/plugin leads to defunct GL, can some one share it ?
Thank you
OMG, nice effect

Slowly getting the hang of it.
Image 1 below has changes only to Base settings such as 'number of times to copy user path'.
Image 2 below then has augmented settings such as 'Scaling, spacing method, stroke x and stroke y modifiers'.

Thank you so much OMG
I see you can do quite complex drawing with this plugin, nice work OMG

From the looks of post#66 OMG you have got the hang of it.
Another brush play with the simplest of radial strokes.
I used a couple of path stroking custom font plug-ins to stroke the outputted paths and two different brushes with track direction enabled before scaling down the results.

This one has 4 separate passes of the script overlaid; 1 with no mods, then 3 with varied mods, one of which features the incoming path itself rotated. It's a case of what to do with the output once you have it.
It just so happens that big lips and Mick Jagger are synonymous, well for all us old folks anyway, so here he is. I vaguely remember seeing him at the Isle of Dogs in London, in the very, very early days.

More exploring of the filter; this time with large x and y offsets; seems anything is possible, in this case just right for a furnace.

Incredible stuff OMG - a fertile imagination indeed!
Personally I preferred 'Hot Lips Houlihan' to old rubber lips and for some reason the last one screams Jimi Hendrix at me.

Thanks
Skinnyhouse; an imagination feeding on a lifetime of input material
More exploration of the various parameters of this plugin – for the first time in the Base Settings, I used the 'Currently selected brush' option (one of my own) instead of 'Line'.
Also, because I had the intention of making a new brush from the plugin output, I made the 'Number of repeated patterns along walk path' equal to 1. Then I played with the 'x and y modifiers' and the 'Number of times to copy user path' parameters. I ran 3 or 4 passes of the filter and then merged their output to make the new brush, which I then used on the outer circle of the mandala below.
I filled in the centre using a new 'walk' path with varying options chosen from both selection tabs. A little bit of touching up and
Voilà, all done.
Thanks to Skinnyhouse for updating Brian Hahn's original script and giving us a very flexible plugin to play with.

Last one for now; I've had fun exploring the plugin.
This one also somehow morphed into musical history (Australian this time) -

My todo list contained an item to allow scaling and repeats with a walk path of zero length so here are three simple examples.
You can achieve this effect using separate layers - of course - but this will do it for you in version 0.08.

I may also look at the scaling spacing before releasing v0.08.

Used your plugin to make a brush; then used the brush to make a mandala (of course!).

Two for the price of one - that's a win - win!
