Cloister window: Partial perspective correction - I didn't want to lose too much. Emphasised the reflection in the window and increased the saturation in some areas.

After using GIMP for many years this photo has prompted me to create two new shortcuts!
Because I frequently use channels and layer-masks, Ctrl-Alt-Z - show layer-mask (Ctrl-Z will already hide it) and Ctrl-Alt-Backslash - save selection to channel.

I have tried to make a subtle change to make the unusual tree stand out from it's surroundings by increasing the saturation of the tree and reducing it for the remainder.

Lens distotion brings the window out nicely. Just added auto levels, sharpening etc after.

Had a play with the roses on window ledge photo; I straightened up the perspective slightly, then, because I'm experimenting with frosted glass at the moment, I put in a new window behind the roses. Added some more roses and turned the rose bush into a new 'cultivar', which produces flowers of different colours.
