"Looking out"

MyPaint + GIMP. from scratch. Was sort of still in the mood of Where Red Apples Lie ...

www.youtube.com Video from : www.youtube.com

(it's available in HD with lots of inline commenting if you go to the link)

This was accelerated to fit within YouTube's 15 minute limit. Originally took somewhat less than 2 hours to make.
It's kinda fun to watch all the false starts and mistakes I made along the way. ;)

Yet another piece of brilliancy. Your sense of depth and mood amaze me always.

I use a graphics tablet for this, yes.

That's very kind of you, even though this image is hardly "brilliant", It's cool if others find it fun to watch. I made plenty of annotations in the video over all the mistakes and false starts I did in the process. :D

It flickered a bit, must be something happening in the screen recording...

Personally I think "Brilliant" is a good choice of words, to start off with! Years ago, before my accident, I used to paint and draw, much more seriousely. Your work is inspiring me to begin again.

@Photomaster
Well, I'm glad if you feel inspired! :D

By the way, Photomaster, you must have the friendliest-looking avatar I've seen in a long while. I take it that's a picture of yourself? I have up to this point always thought you had a mug in your hand, now I see it's a camera ...! How observant of me. ^_^;
