I found this site: https://www.instapainting.com/ai-painter
looks interesting. I gave it a couple of tries but haven't gotten any results in email back yet... wondering if it works at all
just have to wait and see i guess.

Just a reminder, the old java application Painterly. Dead slow but interesting.

I used a custom preset I created a few years (maybe a decade) back for Impressionist (a PS filter that works in GIMP via PSPI if you know the secret that RobA shared a while back. I then did more then a few GIMP and G'MIC tricks since the output still doesn't come close to looking like Gogh; this result's a bit close, but, as you said Tran, it's not Gogh since I'm Lyle (well, Lisle Krolsky; lol). :)

You know you can do this using Resynthesizer too right Tran? I know Resynthesizer is slow, but it will allow you to map a source painting to a target much like how I also do this for my crop circles. :)

OK; here's a farcical result. If I was more intelligent to create a proper color map and such, it would be better, but I'm lazy. lol

instapainting is kind'a neat but they reduce your result file size. here's a sample of one of picasso's nude style applied to photo of buddha statue.

result file's actual size.

trandoductin: those look nice! especially the first came out very good. instapainter looks worth a try.

That actually came out quite decent. Could aways resize and add some additional flair Tran. :)

i can't add flare..not that artistic.
I am just made my laptop dual boot into Ubuntu. I am from Ubuntu right now... now i must continue on this journey to get that source running on my machine so i don't have to be limited by image size :hehe

Hope to see a result from your quest soon Tran. If it works, pass a link to the Ubuntu files. I can then install it in my Ubuntu VM and play too. :)

just following install guide for Ubuntu right now: https://github.com/jcjohnson/neural-style/blob/master/INSTALL.md
Everything seems to take time...

i waited and waited over 0.5hr and it's not even done 1 iteration.
and i think it has to do like 1000 iterations so that's way to long for my machine without CUDA and only 4GB of ram.

Warned you Tran. Without GPU acceleration, you would be better off trying to work with Resynthesizer. At least it's a bit faster despite no GPU acceleration. :)

I thought it would take maybe couple of hours... or less not like a month. :hehe I hope the AI department discover some break-throughs soon to make AI faster...or build more website with sick server power to generate these much faster and larger sizes....

Also, i noticed it not only copy the styles but also most of the colors from the style painting. I wonder if they can make it only copy style and not colors so that much of the colors in original is still there.
