my dollfaced fairies or pixies were naturally falling into a theme - seasons. so here's the winter image, the long title *) is "the fairy magic of a winter day". in the making of this i had to turn an image of a real snowflake into a snowflake brush that i can post here if anyone is interested.

*) yep, i LOVE long titles! it comes from being at crafts and design shcool together with a lot of wannabe artists and art-crafters who either just called their stuff "untitled" or named it "1", "2" etc because they thought titles were outdated. i just had to rebel and deliberately chose the longest and silliest titles i could and now that's how i like it.

trandoductin: i long for that cold, crispy, frosty feeling so much i feel like bursting! we had some very fine winter days here in sweden last year, erisian was lucky enough to be over for a visit just then (up until april this year he still lived in england), but the fine winter left with him, pretty much. after that we had that confounded göteborg rain and temperatures were far too high for my taste. i grew up in a place were temperatures often dropped to minus 30 C in the winters, so that's my idea of fine weather :).

mokonafan: thank you sis! yep, the head is a wee bit big and i did it on purpose - believe it or not, it was bigger at first, i scaled it down quite a bit so she would at least look strong enough to hold up her own head :hehe .

oldmangrumpy: thank you :)! but my fairies have a personal message to you: "no one mentions ABBA in the same post as they mention us! we advise you to be more careful in the future or be prepared to face the consequences."

erisian: *fingers in ears* lalalala, i can't hear you! besides, you should remember that my fairies know where you live. and that you've been warned concerning ABBA quite a few times already...
