A bit much with the Fireworks tool, but it looks GREAT Man, the background in very back is a bit blury, though

Same here, a bit heavy on the Sparks brush. This makes the true border show (especially above the head) and reduces the effect of the cutout. And the red border seems to have been cut at places (finger on the left), or is it hidden by the sparks?

That is hidden by Sparks it looks like to me, try removing the Sparks and it will looks much better
