I have made a few brushes on my own (fixing, coloring, etc images) or with a tutorial (Thanks Mahvin!). :) So I played around a bit making this image.

Really nice looking. I especially like how Photocomix filter im GMIC enhanced the original. Very nice work.

Liana, that is really nice. Chickadees are my all time most favorite of birds (don't get me wrong, I love other birds, too).

@ PC I love your filters I experiment with photos, etc to see which has the effect I like best on the photo or images I am playing with. :)

@ O. I love the chickadees too. I found a line drawing of the bird on a branch, removed the branch and painted the bird not exact but it looks alright. :) I have a hummingbird line drawing that I want to paint to yet. :)
