So there's this thing on youtube where people do a theme every few months and are part of an official group but people not in the group can also do the prompts, the theme this time was urban legends in your home country...I really didn't wanna do it because most of the time they're violent or scary, but I managed to find one that's sad but kinda sweet in its own way so...yay!
Here is the legend:
The Singing Sands of Bete Grise: From the south side of Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula comes an urban legend about a Native American woman calling out for her lost love from the beach to Lake Superior. It is said that because she spent the rest of her days calling for him, the white sand still calls to him. You can hear her call by patting or brushing the surface of the sand, but if removed from the beach, it loses its sound.
So I painted a mournfully cry-singing native american woman on a beach.
There's a video for it but I got advertisement in it so I can't post it here.
