:smooch Thank you AnMal. I believe the glittery effect was created by G'MIC contours/local orientation in grain merge mode.

I thought that the way I spell "colour" would have given it away. :hehe The red squiggly lines are always trying to "correct" me on this! By the way, I am also an Escher fan and I can see exactly what you mean.
