Hi Gimper.
Unfortunately MathMap is not really supported under Windows anymore. People had problems compiling it for Win10. I've tried and gave-up.
It works great in Linux, especially in an embedded appimage. I call it the 'jetfuel install'.

Mathmap works with GIMP 2.10x and in Win10 64bit. I believe Graechen shared this with us a while back but too lazy (got off a 10 hour shift just a bit over 2 hours ago and it's late) to find that thread but it's here. Not sure if it was compiled for 32-bit or 64-bit ability, but either would work anyway. Just do some sleuthing. I have the version as shown; probably not the lastest version but it works fine for all my droste madness that I share here. :)

Hi Pocholo.
It's good that exe installs OK. I don't think that version has the Animation filters.

I mainly use animation with the 64 bit version. MathMap Composer was years ahead of it's time. Davinci Resolve has Fusion which is node-based and this is where many video makers have landed.
BTW the Current page is here.

Question unrelated to this topic, addressed to Pocholo:
How did you get the texts to be green in your Gimp?

In the case of mathmap for Linux.

Just for information MathMapInGimp2-10Appimage - I confirm that it works great on Ubuntu 18.04 and Kubuntu 19.10 with Gimp 2.10.19 (GIMP_AppImage-git-2.10.19-20200402-withplugins-x86_64.AppImage).
Thanks to Tas_Mania.

In the case of mathmap for Windows 10.

Very old version but it still works for Gimp 2.10.18 / 19 (and I've never had any problems with it)
There is only one version of mathmap for windows.
I recommend choosing post Rich2005 (very well described installation method).

Download Mathmap 1.3.5 (latest existing version) for Windows:

Amazing, the Dropbox files are still there. You did not read the post correctly.

Sadly, Dropbox has deleted those files, I suspect lack of use.

In case any Windows users still want to use MathMap , I does still work with (the current at time of writing) Gimp 2.10.28

There is a folder mathmap in zip#1 That goes in your Gimp user plugins folder C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins

There is a folder mathmap in zip#2 This goes in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10

Both folders are named mathmap - nothing else. You are not doing yourself any favours by adding everything to the plug-ins folders list.

Updated files and installation for Gimp 2.10 see:

An example: https://youtu.be/m2Q9bjNIDH0 duration 2 minutes.

You will probably have to use the Gimp default theme to use mathmap. The black theme (used to) affect the mathmap dialogue window.

My version (last version 1.3.5) have it. It's not showing at the top of the filters because I scrolled down, but it's there.
