ref: https://pixabay.com/photos/cat-animal-c ... s-1045782/ Thought I would add a bit of color to my ever growing illustration technique. Used GIMP's newsprint (lines) to convert the colors and grays into lines (CMYK setting). ![]() https://www.flickr.com/photos/163034485 ... 88/sizes/o ![]() |

Aww you hit my weak point Lyle, cats. Nice. @Tas_Mania, awesome animation. Graphic boost and the command line animation technique you've been using lately? |

Hi Nidhogg, I was trying to come-up with a zoomquilt effect last year with MathMap. It zooms and fades from one frame to another but they can be chained together. Then I used G'MIC Dream Smoothing from the command line. It cleans-up the zoom-fade a bit. Lyle hit the spot with his cat. So cuddly and yet such a good predator ![]() |

Not bad at all Tas. I couldn't see the animation at first (and didn't know there was one until I read Nidhogg's post) - took awhile to load. First frame was good but the whole thing is great. |

Quote: That is a pretty cool effect, Tas. Thanks Lyle Maybe I can develop it more. Quote: Not bad at all Tas. Thanks sallyanne. Lyle got the eyes right - "Ambush predators such as domestic cats and crocodiles have pupils that look like vertical slits. Vertical slits give predators improved depth of field and the ability to judge distances, which are essential for an animal that hunts by pouncing on its prey". |
