Here's some recent stuff that I've made with Gimp over the last year. Let me know what you think.

Here's what I designed for my Facebook cover photo...

I made myself into a Na'vi avatar using this tutorial (http://www.gimpusers.com/tutorials/beco ... r-tutorial). I do realize there are some mistakes, especially how the hair is so harsh.

I really like this one.

And then there's this one:

Let me know what you think and which one you like best...

Thanks!

I love the Na'vi avatar. Is that you? I love that kind of fantasy photo manipulation and you are a very pretty model for it.

Thank you, everyone, for such nice remarks. I feel all nice inside now :hi5

Yep, that's a picture of me, actually from a year ago. Here's a more recent one, though.

I meant to upload this one, too, but I forgot. I really like this one and how the swirls interweave with the letters. It's unfinished, though, so it looks less detailed than usual.

Hey, I think those are quite cool! I like the avatar one, but it' s kind of grainy and low-quality. Other than that, good work!
Oh yeah and the sing and dance one, that' s a neat design.

Yeah, I did the avatar one over a year ago and I see where I made some mistakes... Always room for improvement!

Thanks again to everyone who helped encourage me. I really really like this forum!

Wow - you are pretty. I wish I was many decades younger! I love the lettering on the other one. Was it done by hand or a font?

Very impressive stuff! Did you make those tacks by hand? Sometimes the smallest of things impress me.
Also, that baby is adorable!

haha, Erisian, thanks! It was actually a font (I'm not cool enough to do it by hand). The font is called Kingsthings Foundation. Here's a link:

I'm glad you like it!

Thank you, Cyrilshark. I didn't make those tacks by hand (although, I'd imagine there's plenty of tutorials on how to do that). I actually got it from Fuzzimo. It's a great site with tons of free downloads. Here's a link:

The baby was fun to do; thanks for the compliment!

haha, yeah, it felt really weird doing it to myself. I mean, zooming in on your own face is pretty bizarre. Thanks for the compliment!
