It's my Mum's 70th birthday soon so I said I would make the invites for her. After a bit of internet searching decided to try and make a birthday banner. Pleased with the results, It's greyscale for the simple fact of saving money on home printing plus we will print on different coloured paper.

The font used is "imitation"

he4rty: that's very nice work! the gradient looks almost like silver, very festive. nice font too, but i first thought the 7 was a 1 - that was before i read your text, though, and i assume the invited guests will be quicker to understand .

Have you used CMYK color profile for print version?

To be honest do not fully understand this printing and colour fully yet.

maybe get rid of the star in the left bottom corner, thats only partially there ?

and i would write happy and birthday with capital letters at the beginning
'Happy Birthday'
but maybe that just looks odd to me because im german

Thanks for the comments Esper, I have cropped the Star out, the font I used doesn't seem to have any capitals as such, they just seem to be bigger versions of the lower case letters.
