Teapot and Wallace - thanks for your comments. One of the old threads from trandoductin/quietreader has re-opened in the last couple of days featuring the 'paint paths in steps' plugin. I am trying to remember how to use it as its at least four years ago since I did use it and mostly on Gimp Learn. In those days quite a number of GC/GL members were into making GIFS. Anyway, I am struggling to work it out now so went into my GIF archive and found this (amongst others) - I do not believe I have posted it here previously.
