Wallace - here is my favourite of the results I achieved in response to the challenge you set for me; hope it meets with your approval (if not I have 6 other versions to post :) )

I was tempted to do it all purple and may do so yet ...

Nice results OMG. :bigthup
It looks a lot like molten glass.

Of course I always love to see designs done in my favorite hue.

Wallace - thank you, I am so glad (and relieved) that you approve!

So here is a Wallace special; I even gave the timber a purple wash and you probably know the centre feature ...

I really wanted more gloss to it. I did have some other things on it but thought it looked too busy.

That's pretty cool looking Pat625.
Yours too Dinasset. :bigthup
Is it the image that was taking forever to render?

Pat625 - nice one again Pat :yes

Keep them coming.

Just a word on the BRL extended rendering issue and 'not responding' messages; I kept watch on a long one today using Task Manager. Both GIMP and BRL processes were sitting there doing nothing, but ML Bevel process was working extremely hard at about 60% of processor and 4MB of memory but virtually no disc activity.

I have no idea when it was last updated.
Maybe it's ML Bevel that needs an overhaul?

I still haven't found that gradient flare script, can someone give me the full path, so when I find where it is, I can put it in the proper place or at least if it's in the proper place, I can know that it just doesn't work with my os.

My way to apply Dinasset' gradient flare;

1. Create a design of yours in transparent layer.
2. Open a background layer and fill it with a pattern. Set it below your design layer
3. Highlight your layer design and alpha to selection. Keeping the selection, combine this layer with your background layer.
4. Go to filters and find “DN Scripts – Frames – creates a glass frame around an image. keeping selection yet.
5. You choose “gradient flare” and give OK.
6. I duplicate the layer “Glass layer” and put it at layer mode “Hue”

(look at the link I gave you if you don't have this script) I hope this helps you 2-Ton. :)

Dinasset: Which script has your gradiant flare? What I used was faint, even if I adjusted the hue, saturation and duplicated it.
