I selected the subject of this next portrait from a list of nominations sent to me by Ella, so I hope I have done justice to the designated subject for her. This lady was an actor and sometime singer from the late 1950s through the early 1970s, after which she became an animal rights activist, a heartfelt chore that she still pursues even today. I have chosen a period around the late 1960s for this rendition and have painted her wearing a hat, for which, at that time, she had a penchant for wearing as a fashion accessory.

This person also comes from the list of portrait nominees I received from Ella and again I have shown him in his youth. Hopefully he is recognisable and Ella is happy with my result ![]()

Ella - thank you; more to come from your helpful suggestions ![]() Issabella - wow, thank you too for your continued encouragement of my journey ![]() Another of Ella's suggestions was Pablo Picasso and I have now done a sketch portrait of him; previously I have not put my sketches in this thread, but what the hell it is still a portrait ![]()
