Thank you,OMG, for your very kind comments. However, you have set the standard high, not I. I think the others would agree that your talent and imagination are outstanding, and your willingness to share with us makes us all better.

I still love glass!! This is a combo of brick, Wood carve, BRL for the wood and center glass design. Also used Graechan's Wrought Iron script for the metal trim. It is a practice session.

Hi Pat,
Good Attempt. Vertical and Horizontal Bars appear to be separate from the circular rings. Bars need to be joined to the rings.

Not necessarily, Rashid, we could see the bars as a residual BG under the waterfall image four slices.

Thank you, Dinasset, and Rashid for your comments and suggestions. I was undecided as to what to do with the wood bars and rings as far as appearance of being joined. I took the lazy option of thinking the wood was screwed into the rings from the back so there are no marks on the front! I could be wrong. . . . .

IMO it's not wong, but -if you like- you may try to follow Rashid's suggestion.

Thinking of moving GIMP off Windows10 to my Linux Mint machine - so I made some new LM wallpapers as a welcome gift -

Hi OMG. I really like the first graphic.
Why not use Gimp on both machines? You may even be able to copy the Gimp folder across to Linux.
Haven't tried it but I do copy the Gimp folder between Linux machines.
A lot easier than installing every script and plugin again.

The word solitude has developed more meaning as I get older. I posted a glass solitude image in another thread and then I thought of places that positivley encourage solitude. So this photo manip comes from two such places, the Katherine Gorge in our Northern Territory and Shark Bay at Monkey Mia in Western Australia, both great places to visit.

I love your solitude place, OMG. I think as you OMG, "The word solitude has developed more meaning as I get older" I think that it's very necessary to grow spiritually. :)

OMG, I love all your images. The apng does not work on Windows so I'll have to check it on my iPad. Since I am old (older, he he) I must agree with you and Issabella about solitude. I never thought about it when I was young!

Pat, there is an APNG support for GIMP in SourceForge, but I do not know if and how it works.
Maybe someone here can post a comment/evaluation on that?
