Nice one, nzdawghaus! :2thup

It's kinda like the outer hull of a Borg cube. :smiley2

nzdawghaus - Like the wallpaper has a lot of interest going on with all the criss crossing lines but not to overbearing as a background image. Excellent.

I've been off in the woods mostly for quite a while but got a notification on my phone of a PM here so decided to look at what's going on. Can't remember if I ever posted this one but some of you may recognize the design is similar to another program.

Cool wallpaper, Drac.

Welcome back. We though you might have gotten lost out there in the woods. :smiley2

Naw, just honing my wilderness survival & bushcraft skills. Big difference between the two.

Did you happen to run into Les Stroud or Bear Grylls anywhere out there?

If I had I would have been in good company. Les has been retired for a few years now but I would love to meet him and Mors Kochansky. BG....not so much.

Yeah, I've always thought Les was the real deal. His vids are very educational. Bear is more about hype and I have the feeling that in a real survival situation, he wouldn't be taking the kind of chances he does in his vids. I don't know Mors Kochansky. I'll have to look him up.

Glad to hear from you, Drac. Hope you can stick around awhile.

Since we all have different screen resolutions, should we create wall papers that are the size of our screens or make the wall papers smaller? My screen resolution is 1600 x 900.

You can make it the size of your screen. If you want to make it smaller keep the aspect ratio and don't make it too small because you will lose quality when it is expanded.

When I kicked Windows into the bitbucket and threw myself into the welcoming arms of Debian, I wanted walpaper that expressed both my total immersion in the operating system and the peace that it has brought to my computing life. After a long Google image search, I had only an approximation of the perfect background. No problem for GIMP to cook it up right. Here it is -- with GIMP loading, of course!
