Admirable work, Chris, as usual!

I followed some of your Inkscape tutorials but the one I particularly fond of (Nähen mit Inkscape) is nowhere to be found.
Link seems to be broken.
Could you please provide a link to the text tutorial (English or German, doesn't matter).

Thank you!

I would love to see tutorials of those pics...or at the least, an outline of the procedures.

Hey! I see you found and tested some of my tutorials...yeah! It is great to share it with you!
The glass text is very similar to this tutorial here on Gimpchat:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5126

I add also some white reflections like my candytext:
http://www.gimpusers.com/tutorials/crea ... dy-letters
(Step 10-14)

That is how i create some shiny text effects.

I love that too. I tried it in GIMP but it didn't come out as well as that. It looks so real.

EDIT: That tute looks like it is done in GIMP, not Inkscape. I understand most of it but there are a lot of steps that I couldn't get . Is there any way to get it in English? I also don't know where these little squares come up in GIMP. How do I get them...or do I need them?

Yes it is the fur on Chris. I really like it but I don't have those brushes you are using with the dots nor I quite understand the whole tute.

Ok, you need no special brushes. Use the new Bristles.
Dark color for the background and some brighter colors for the texture.
Then smudging! Thats all. Note: little brush sizes = more work, but realistic outcome.
Hope that helps you molly.
