at last: the "make a paisley" thread!

Another rainy day so much GIMPING was performed.

Inspired by 2-ton's terrific mandala in my 'glass ornaments' thread, I spent some time with those fabulous path plug-ins, learning, experimenting and finally created a number of mandala templates to play with. Here is one that I think contains about 32 separate paisley shapes, set in a wooden frame ...

It's a shame GnuTux no longer runs this site, but what a legacy he has left us with BRL :hi5

I get so much fun from playing with GIMP, have even started to catch up in the garden too now but the trouble is my wife says why does she now come third on the list :oops:

Anyway, you can never have too much glass or too many roses or too much paisley ...

pat625: a lovely composition. i get an image in my mind of a filthy rich maharaja, decorating his incense plates with paisley gems.
