My portrait of Neil Finn, a Kiwi now in his mid sixties, a singer/songwriter/guitarist who played in Split Enz, Crowded House and Fleetwood Mac. I was lucky enough to see him play live twice in Sydney, once with his family band at Taronga Zoo, overlooking Sydney Harbour and the other time when he was with Fleetwood Mac three or four years back.

Tas_mania, Uzugijin, Diego, Pocholo,Erisian and Wallace - thanks all for your kind comments.

@Erisian - yes, I do find a reference to use as my inspiration when I do fantasy portraits; typically its a line art or even clip art image to which I add further "sculpted' effects. Sometimes I even combine/massage a couple of these 'inspirational images' to produce a new outline to my liking, then I work on it with colours and shaping.

This one takes me back to my sporting youth. Here is my portrait of (now) Sir Bobby Charlton who played for Manchester United and England in the 1960s.

Issabella - thank you so much. I'm learning more all the time and trying out different ideas/techniques; as you ask for more, here is more.
