We've had McCartney and Harrison, so now Leonard Cohen (for Ella Louise, who also favours him!). Actually I probably 'bit off more than I can chew' with this portrait, as ageing faces have many subtle nuances ... more to learn!

Well done, OMG :paint, no need to post the name of who it is.
And thank you for thinking of me by making the portret of Leonard Cohen.
I love the lyrics of many songs by Leonard Cohen.

One of my favorites ...

But that you know :)

Tas_mania, level_0, Issabella and Ella Louise - thank you all for your very kind comments.

May have mentioned this before, but in the early 1960s I spent some time as a young teenager living in France; a certain young lady with long tresses, named Francoise Hardy, captivated me and to this day I still remember the words of her first hit song 'Tous les garçons et les filles ...'.

She is still around and so I painted her as part of my ongoing learning exercise ...

Wallace, would you share the name of the font you used in post #268? It is very pretty and yet, very easily read.

I'm having a lot of fun and learning a lot at the same time ... hope this portrait streak is not becoming boring. Two more sketches this time of persons unknown, the second one with some photo manip elements.
