Mainah_Ayuh - welcome to the 'something different' club; neat troll image.

Pat and Wallace - yes I agree with you both!

Grampy Troll was out on the castle balcony last night, looking up into the heavens, when an image suddenly appeared before him ...

OMG: Wow, that's a pretty alien! A nearly dollfaced one, how cute is that? :cute

I have a surprise for the trolls: an old Swedish troll (distant cousin of a Norwegian troll from earlier in the thread) heard of all the fun you could have in Australia and how interesting the wildlife is, so here's Mother Mossymarsh waiting for her batflight to the Outback!

Anmal - -oh she is so cute. I will have to continue the story line somehow. You mentioned in the mandala thread that you would like one of my images as a necklace. Well here it is as a necklace with a chain of amber set in gold, a couple of matching ear rings and for good customers a free amber ring as well :hehe

Oldmangrumpy: Thank you, that is awesome! You know what? It reminds me of some of Erisian's old work on here. He made Celtic knotwork jewellery and some mandala medallions.

More awesome work! I particularly like your alien. :hi5

I think AnMal is referring to my jewelry box in this post: http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5110&p=63823&hilit=jewelry#p63806

Erisian - thank you for your comments. Yes, jewelry and Celtic knots, I used to have 'Knotter' linked in to my 2.8 version of GIMP, maybe I should resurrect it. Now for the elusive black rose, in glass of course.

Anmal - the word has already got around that Mother Mossymarsh is on a bat flight arriving shortly at Sydney Airport. So local Troll leader Abbadob is there waiting in the arrivals hall, sitting on an old log stool that he took with him.

Oldmangrumpy: :yr What a welcome she'll get! I'm sure they're already having a troll beer together with Abbadob's friends and doing whatever trolls do when they get together. You know what, Grumpy one? When you put trolls in this thread they started creeping into my imagination and now I've just finished a needle felted figure of a little troll girl that I'm sending to my niece and nephew :).

Anmal - thank you. Since you and others have made 'thread madness' popular, this one attempts to follow suit

In the soft pre-dawn light after a really good night on the tiles, Princess Sin Sin Simba is returning home. Her paws deftly manipulate the gold navigational orbs on her flying silk cushion, as she enters the curtained aerial passageway to her lair ...

Anmal and Erisian - thank you for your kind comments; your interaction spurs me on!!

Princess Sin Sin Simba takes many forms; in one of her other manifestations she is known as The Stone Princess ...

Oldmangrumpy: Keep going, keep going, we want more! It's an inspiration to see how much you've learned and how far you've come in just the time you've been a member here on GC.

Anmal - you want more ... here is more. Princess Sin Sin Simba has a cousin, Princess Sin Sin Lignum, known as the Wooden Princess and here she is in front of the castle entrance ;)

I like this one, OMG; you know, I'm very much oriented to "realistic" drawings, I don't like a lot "distortions", and this one respects my "traditional" ("trivial"?) idea of drawing, only the "skin like wood" is a "poetic licence". Good.

Anmal, Diego and Erisian - thank you all for your comments; and thanks also to you individually, as each of you in different ways have contributed to my GIMP learning.
