Very nice Issabella! :clap You're all forcing me to "create" from scratch...hmm, well we'll see if I can come up with something later.

After watching Wallace's speed video of his mandala I thought OK lets do a mandala. So I used Issabella's metal emaps and got a surprise result ... a new set of wheels for my car

Dalia - thank you for your kind comments.

Some very cold mornings here right now so it is easy to stay inside and play Gimping -

Impact Filter. You may see some things that are usually found on children's sites, but we just spent 2 weeks with our grandsons ages 2 and 5 so their parents could get ready for a move from the south to the north of our country. Both boys love cars, trains, trucks, etc. Had steady diet of Thomas and friends, Blaze and "Cars".

Pat, time spent on your loving grandchildren must have been fun and rewarding. :) Pat, I'll try that impact effect, I love it.
I like your result on the vase a lot, too. :bigthup
OMG, your sphere is really fantastic. nice colours and perfect realization. :bigthup

I have been intrigued with what Lurifax and Dalia have been presenting in their Blender Art posts. So I wanted to see what I could come up with in GIMP, albeit I tend to rely on filters for my stuff.

I took the microphone idea from one of Lurifax's recent posts - I suppose for Wallace's sake I should have made it purple, but still this one lights up in the dark ...

Issabella - I like that clock and will give it a try too by myself, but just in case can you tell me where to find the tutorial please.

The idea for the microphone I posted above came from the the Lurifax 'Blender Art' thread. I went there again and saw the footballs from Dalia amd Lurifax and so I thought again I would try it in GIMP ...

OMG, great football and probably a lot easier to do than in blender ;)

Pat625 - Oh dear me, I missed your ships at sea post above and I really like the effect; so I smacked my wrist and promise to be more attentive :)

In the meantime new GC member Bob Albion has revived my interest in Lord of the Rings, so I brought Gollum back for an encore ...
