Really nice manipulation of those images with WB and pseudoHDR. At one time I had a script or two for the fake HDR but had trouble getting a reasonable result. It was as though I did nothing or really overblown. Which script do you use?

I remember that tutorial from several years ago trying to fix up old photos. At the time I thought it was too many steps. I adjusted the color in other ways, and thought it was pretty close.

How is this: Remember, I am not an artist nor a photographer.

I like your pictures, but this time I liked them before the fake HDR. I don't think that long many step process is necessary for pictures of good quality to begin with. Did you do that many step process from the tutorial on all these pictures?

even more, Pat.
As I said in one of my posts, I take really good images as source, to see what happens, but certainly it would be better to take images with lack of clarity to show the benefits of those steps.
Next times, maybe.

Congrats Dinasset for your pseudoHDR. I like the results a lot and on your montage of photos it is really awesome. Will you tell us how you get this nice effect? :bump :)

Issabella, thanks, I'm still working in preparing my (modified) flow.
You may start with the tutorial I started with (also Pat used it some time ago, she said...)

IMO, it is better to use quality photos for the procedure.
When restoring old faded photo slides I had tried the workflow as described
in the online tutorial with no good outcomes. When the colors are nearly gone
there is no bringing them back.
You are getting good outcomes with much of the dark areas brought out.

I really like the result of the last image, Dinasset. In the original, the sky is lovely, but the bottom part is way too dark. You brought that up nicely so you can see the detail.

thanks Pat, the filter is adding to the "photo manipulation" interesting effects, even if very simple
(try also the "night")

During my tests I used a lot external pictures which looked nice to me.
But, going more deeply, I discovered that almost all of those "nice" pictures have been so heavily manilupulated that a lot of colours information has gone.
This means that they are rarely good as source for processing colours info (like recently my fake HDR).
From now on I will use photos of my personal collections as they came out from the camera, to be sure thay have the needed colours info.
