Thanks for identifying the existing problem with the new version, it was a bug, now fixed.

1-first of all thanks for posting them

2-that kind of problem cannot be solved by some modification to the filter, sorry.
Why?
Because the relevance of the border is dependant from the relevance of the contrast and the filter (which is not a clever person) cannot distinguish between a relevant piece of the picture and a simple relevant contrast of an insignificant part of the image. Hence it did show the border very strong. Think: should that "white" spot have been an interesting particular object? the moon for instance? or some other interesting object which requires to be evident?
Only the user (who is clever) can do something, for instance by blurring/patching the source.
I'm really sorry, but I can't solve it automatically.

Additional (general) comment.

Just experimenting randomly on various images, I saw that a NOT LITTLE PERCENTAGE (30%?) of them do create unpleasant effects, many of which even unavoidable with manual preprocessing.
On the other hand, not a few images will produce very nice outcomes.

It's a challenge: try and see. Then choose.

I find very nice results so far.
I understand what you say, Dinasset. It's imposible the filter can recognise each spot if important or not. The users can prepare the image previously if needed.
