yeah, it works!!! I used a font called "WallowHmkBold" but I have no idea where it is on my system. Yes, I looked in the usual places.

I like the slightly wavy edges. and this was with the default numbers. Thanks!

Molly you could try standing the text up as in the rel2 horizon option

Go to Blue Ice Script for download

Molly, would you mind telling me how you got those results with your text? It looks like you might have used the stone pattern but how did you achieve those colors? It reminds me of something. I just can't put my finger on it right now.

I am not sure Bug, I went through my patterns and maybe it was one of the stone patterns.
As for the blue, I just double clicked my foreground colors and picked a royal blue shade for the text and then a lighter blue of the same hue for the shadow. Sorry, I don't know the color numbers, it was just a random thing.

I think the leaf pattern would be a nice one to use also. I will try that one next.

In that case, I'm sure I'll figure it out. This isn't a great example but I believe this is what I was thinking of, hematite.

That is really nice. You could use the color picker and get two colors off this and use them to make some text and see how it goes. I think it would be very nice. Maybe the light blue and dark blue and use the brown or one of the darker colors for the shadow. Cool

They are beautiful samj. Bug will like them cuz I think he wants to do the text in those colors.

I was looking to see if those gradients could be used for that ice script but I guess not. hmmm.

That looks really cool!

It would be a bonus if Graechan's script paused when the "Light to Height" plugin is called so you could make adjustments with it.

Those look pretty nice Samj. It looks like I came to the right place, helpful people, gradient/brush makers, script writers, etc.. I am curious how you made them, Smooth Palette, Sample Gradient Along Path, close? Thank you.

Molly, sometimes things look better if you use Gradient Map rather than the Gradient tool.

Edit again: I realized that didn't come out too clear. I wasn't just speaking in context of this application. Obviously you don't the use the Gradient tool to make this text. The script uses the selected gradient. If you use a pattern, though, you could use Gradient Map afterwards. Or you just use a color for the script. Then add a texture and Gradient Map. It really depends on the pattern, texture, or gradient to work together. You might want to create the text without the drop shadow to use for a selection and transfer to another created with the shadow. I'm sure some people know all this. I just wanted to clarify what I was saying.

Bonjour,

Example for use gradients "Hematite" with the script-fu "BLUE ICE rel2"

Here is a video contained in an archive 7Zip.

The volume is 198MB uncompressed.
VLC can play this video.

***
It is also possible to transfer the color to a pattern using "sample colorize".
